Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful lunch with my parents and sisters family and then we returned home for a dinner with Devon and Nara. We had a great time and many blessings.

Caroline goes to a Wednesday church class once a week. This year the local church hosted a Trunk or Treat. She had a  great time with friends and had lots of candy.

We had a mini vacation on Marco Island for the weekend before summer comes to an end. The girls loved the beach and I enjoyed relaxing while Rick was at his conference.  Marco is just down the road from our home but it is always nice to be a tourist.

A Prince is Born in England

I am feeling a bit old. I was a child when Diana and Charles were married. I remember when William was born but The birth of William's child makes me feel old. At the same time I have to admit. I was glued to the  Internet all day waiting for the birth.   Now we just have to wait for the name........

First Movie

We brought Caroline to her first movie. We got popcorn, candy and soda and enjoyed Turbo. Caroline loved it and was well behaved. We will bring her back soon.

July Birthdays

July is a big birthday month in my family. My father and Caroline share the same birthday ( July 29th) My niece Emma starts the month off with a July 1st birthday. On Saturday we celebrated all three birthdays.

Caroline is 3 and she loves to learn. Today she mastered her first and last name.

We stayed home this year and did the local beach firework show. It was a great firework show and a lot of fun.

Summer Fun

It is very hot and we have had a lot of rain this summer.  As a true Florida girl we do not go to the beach as often as we should. We live about 15 minutes from the beach but do not go enough. On Sunday Caroline and I spent the morning painting at a ceramics store we were not very good and it was more stressful then fun. So on the way home we stopped at the beach just to put our  toes in the water. 

As we left the beach I promised Caroline that we would return soon. Now it just needs to stop raining .

She Won a Crown

Caroline and my niece Julia were part of a pageant last week in Orlando. It was a family event mixed in with a trip to Universal and Islands of Adventure.
