Happy Caroline Day

Two years ago today Rick and I became parents in a hotel lobby in Nanchang, China. We knew within minutes that she was strong willed and beautiful. Two years later I would add brilliant and funny and by far the best blessing in my life. Happy Caroline Day!

Happy Valentine's Day

Caroline went to her first school Valentine's day party today. She brought cup cakes and Barbie cards for the class. It was a huge hit.

Chicago For The Weekend

Rick and I have gotten a way for the long weekend. It has been cold and snowing but we are having fun.   Caroline is staying with my parents. She is having a great time but we really miss her.
