Happy Easter

I love Easter and today did not disappoint. Rick and I woke up to the squeal of a three year old who had just discovered the jellybean trail to her Easter Basket. The Easter basket was full of Hello Kitty coloring books and a little bit of candy. Caroline really enjoyed eating the sour jelly beans all the way to her basket. She showed restraint not to eat all of Nara’s too. (Nara was still asleep) We then went to church where Caroline sang in the Cherub Choir.

I love Easter but I really do not like church at Easter and I really do not like the 11 service. I love my church and I look forward every Sunday to hear the message. However, on Easter Sunday it is really crazy.  On most Sundays we go to the nine am service ,on most Easters I go to the sunrise service. However, Caroline was singing at the eleven am service so we braved the crowds. We went to the nine am service while Caroline practiced and then we got in line to see her at the 11 am service.  I belong to a large church but the funny part is that next Sunday parking will not be an issue and we will have no lines to enter the sanctuary.

After church we drove to my sisters and had lunch and had an Easter egg hunt. Caroline loved the egg hunt with Jackson. Caroline stayed the night with my parents and Rick and I ended the night by having dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and watching movies. Overall it was a great Easter.
